Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter that made her name known on the television screen when she was cast as Alex on One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. The first two albums she made as a country artist were featured on episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, also reached in the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to music from the country genre and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. She began her acting career as an teen in the 2002 indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Kramer was a guest on episodes for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. Kramer became a part of the cast on CW One Tree Hill in 2009, playing Alex Dupre. she continued to appear until the finale in 2012, about halfway in. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern music video for the love song of a country singer, I Won't Let Go. It was featured later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the middle of 2012. It climbed to number 5 in the Billboard Top Country Albums. She focused on her musical career without quitting acting, she acted in movies which enticed her fans, including Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. Kramer released her sophomore studio album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville, in October of this year. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped to make it into the top ten of the Billboard 200. The month of September 2016 saw her time in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending in a fourth place finishing. It was also the year that she landed an adult contemporary hit, with Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
