LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 - is a pro American basketball player. The nickname is King James he is widely considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. He is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James holds 4 NBA titles. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. Two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the most number of points scored in the post-season. He is second in total career point total and seventh highest number of career assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, an all-time record. He was also selected to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. James has played in the ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between the years of 2011 and 2018. James was picked to join the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player to ever score at least 10,000 points in a career. James played basketball during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. National media touted James as a future NBA superstar. He was a prep-to pro and selected with the top choice by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. Being the NBA rookie player in 2004 he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league. winning the NBA MVP awards in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. James signed a free-agent contract following his failure to earn championships in Cleveland. He made the decision to leave Cleveland in order to join Miami Heat, announced on the television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
