LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984 is an American professional basketball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). James is known by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has taken home four NBA championships, four NBA MVP award Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is second in highest number of career goals, and the seventh most assists. James has been chosen as an NBA All Star 18 times. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. He was also selected for the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The third-highest number in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011 and 2018. James has been selected for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has attained 10,000 points or more as well as rebounds and assists during his professional career, in 2022. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national press praised him as an NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie player in 2004 he established himself rapidly as one of the best players in the league. earning the NBA MVP awards in the 2009 and 2010 seasons. James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 when he became a Free Agent after not achieving an NBA Championship in Cleveland. The announcement of his departure was broadcast on The Decision.
