Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), a nurse, and Tom Bell, a television news director. Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. In 1992, Kristen was the first to go to an audition. She got a part of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom to become an agent when she was only 13 years old. She was then chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials on TV. In addition, she is beginning classes in acting for herself. Bell was as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy character. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater following her graduation. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the was the same year that she also was the first to be credited as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
