Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1977) was born in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She currently works as an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project, and is one of the core members of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement group. The GI-TOC research concentrates on assassinations within the context of illegal economies. Research interests include the impact of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights, and policies and laws. Ana Paula has an LL.M. Cum ex laude (with the highest distinction) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. with a concentration in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree with a magna cumlaude distinction in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her legal experience has included four years of practicing with a firm that is specialized in the area of public law litigation. In the past, she has also worked for non-governmental organizations that have their the headquarters located at Rio de Janeiro.
