Awkwafina An American performer and actress, started by releasing a humorous rap track that dealt with issues of sexual and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood when she dropped an album of raps. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. Later, she began hip-hop and classical training. In college, she focused on her studies, and then took up a degree in women's studies and journalism. In a short period of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. The focus changed towards music after she finished her studies. Following her viral success on the Internet, her song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The song was directly connected to The Awkwafinas Guide to NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. The singer decided to make acting as a profession after completing her first two ventures as a musician and author. She has appeared in films like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
