Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started in his early college days. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films as well as on TV but it's the actors portrayed in small screen that has earned him fame. He's been able easily play characters on both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' interest. The first show he worked on was a TV serial and later, he played as a detective with the NYPD. Because of his portrayal in the small screen, he's been nominated many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. The most striking of his face features is thought to be the sharp blue eyes which have allowed him to portray characters who have a rough, charismatic look. The year 2006 was the last time he was featured in People's publication's Sexiest Men Alive list.
