LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James has been widely recognized as being the greatest of all time players in basketball. Michael Jordan is usually considered when discussing which is the most outstanding player. James was awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team as well as two Olympic medals. James holds the record for having the top amount of points scored during the post-season, second best overall career score and 7th most career assists. James has been the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. James has also been selected to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. The third-highest number in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011 and 2018. James joined part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was the first NBA player to earn 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by national media as the next NBA superstar. In 2003 it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, the player quickly became one of the league's premier players winning an NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure an award in Cleveland and departed the city as an "free agent" in 2010. The decision was announced by the television show The Decision.
